My Top 3 Drug Store Highlighters

These are my top three drug store highlighters, I love using highlighters I use them everyday as part of my makeup routine and I couldn't go a day without using one, highlighters and concealers are literally like my holy grail products like dessert island products.
I thought I would write up a post letting you all know my favourite three highlighters on the drug store scene right now so their is-

Bourjois Chocolate Highlighting Powder £8.99
I love this highlight and after seeing it on a few blogs I decided I needed to track this highlight down because I heard it had been discontinued not that I no why! It is gorgeous and really pretty, I love using this and I will be really sad when I've used it because I can't find anyone that sells this anymore. If you don't mind spending a little more you can get it here for £14.99.

I bought this ELF blush back when they had a 50% off on their website and I put quite a few (12) blushes into my basket and this one turned out to be a perfect highlight colour so its now what I use it for. I am really pleased I got this because it adds a lovely highlight to the cheek and brow bone and isn't too over the top.

I bought this highlighter a while ago from Superdrug but never used it because its a pink based highlight and I didn't think it would suit my skin tone but after using the lustre drops I got for Christmas I have been using this as a highlight setting powder over the top and it looks amazing! So pleased I got this now and even more pleased that I started to use it and found out how good it does look!

Style Crush: Lucy Hale

My style crush at the moment is Lucy Hale or Aria from Pretty Little Liars!
Since watching Pretty Little Liars I have been completely obsessed with Lucy Hale's style she has such effortless style on and off set! I have even been buying clothes because they look similar to the ones she wears. I am obsessed with wearing dresses at the moment and usually in Pretty Little Liars she seems to wear a lot too so if I see her in one I know I will like I take a picture so that I can find one similar online.
In Pretty Little Liars her outfits are just thrown together and she looks amazing I honestly wish I could just own her whole wardrobe well both wardrobes actually!
I can't wait to buy the new series of Pretty Little Liars so I can go crazy over her new clothes!

Benefit Girl Meets Pearl Review

This is one of my first Benefit Reviews and I am really pleased to say that for one of my first Benefit Reviews I am really going to enjoy writing this review!
I have been using this product for the last 2 months now, I have been using the Benefit's Girl meets Pearl as either a subtle highlight for my brow or cheek bone but after using it like this for a while I decided to mix it in with my foundation and it works and looks AMAZING!
I didn't think I would be able to say I LOVE a liquid highlight very often but now it seems to be the only type of highlight I use and I really am loving this one from Benefit.
Its a really lovely pearly pink colour as the name would suggest its really pretty and isn't sticky which is a big issue for me when it comes down to liquid products so its a win for me.
I really cannot wait to try more Benefit products now that this one has brought me over to the Benefit Website.

I Love Mango + Papaya Shower + Bath Creme Review

Whilst shopping in Superdrug last week I was looking for my usual shower gel but whilst I was looking I came across this huge orange bottle, it caught my eye instantly, well the whole shelf did actually their was so many pretty bottles to look at.
After looking at each one and seeing what each one smelt of I decided to go with the Mango & Papaya bubble bath and shower creme.
I was a naughty blogger and forgot to photograph the bottle before I had one bath with it, however this means that now I have used nearly all the bottle in baths and showers I can give you my opinion on it!
Firstly the I Love Mango and Papaya bubble bath smells amazing, it smells really fresh and feels like im sat in a bath full of fresh Mango's and Papaya's.
I am really happy with my choice and I would definitely repurchase this however I wish there was a more Herbal smelling one!
This I Love... Mango and Papaya Bubble bath and Shower creme product is Soap Free, Paraben Free and pH Balanced.

You can buy this here for 2.99 from Superdrug.

Maybelline Brown Drama Review

(1 coat of Maybelline's Brow Drama)

(2 coats of Maybelline's Brow Drama)

(3 coats of Maybelline's Brow Drama)

I bought this because I saw this being reviewed on so many other blogs, every time I went into Boots though I always seemed to forget to pick this up so I thought clearly im not that interested if I forget to pick it up each time but a couple of weeks ago I remembered to pick it up and im glad I did now!
I have been using this Brow Mascara for the past two weeks and I have to say I am more than impressed with the results after just three coats my brows look as good as when I fill them in with normal gel or a brow pencil. I have really enjoyed using the product and its so easy to apply which makes it much more desirable in my eyes.
The colour for my Brows is also a really good match, and the price is good for what the product does and how well it applys to the brows. The Maybelline Brow Drama comes in three shades, Dark Blond which is the one I have, Medium Brown and Dark Brown so they have a nice selection of shades for you to choose from.

Wishlist #7

I have wanted a Chanel Flap bag for ages, I was bought a Classic Flap bag in Black and Gold hardware a few years ago but decided to sell it because of my love for Mulberry, however I have fallen in love with the beige colour and I am thinking about going and buying it!
I wanted the Michael Kors bronzer as soon as it came out, I just need to be able to justify the price tag.
I have heard great things about Jo Malone Perfumes and I really want to try this one when I have run down my current perfume collection.
I am obsessed with Yankee Candles and any Limited Edition ones have my name written all over them so obviously I need this one.
I want a good contour brush and I have read a few reviews on this brush so I hope I can purchase this before it goes out of stock again.
The Tom Ford lipstick is something else I need to be able to justify however it really is a gorgeous colour and I hope to be able to add this to my collection soon!
I need a new contour kit and this one from sleek is such good value, I love sleek products so I definitely need this one too!

My Daily Makeup

Benefit They're Real Mini Mascara £9.50

My face is worth £152.68
Which is actually a lot to say I use all of this everyday on my face, when I run out of every product to repurchase all of these is going to cost me a lot because I do love using these products and these are all a must in my makeup collection!
Even on a normal day when I'm just sat at home writing essays I use three of the above products, Mac Face and Body, Collection and Seventeen concealers which means I will work my way through these three products the quickest, I have already ordered the 120ml of Mac Face and Body because I have nearly run out and for me this is the best foundation I have used because it has no SPF in it.

Product Empties #2

This time my product empties include 7 items that I have finished using up this month, I love using up products because it then gives me an excuse to either go buy another or to try something new!

Viva La Juicy Body Lotion
Benefit They're Real Mascara £9.50
Lipgloss in 01 Swift Kiss

I seem to finish a perfume every time I upload a product empties post, I have so many perfumes to use and I obviously use perfume everyday, however I am now down to 10 perfumes/body mists now.... well and all my Victoria's Secret ones too (I know I know) I just can't help buying new perfumes so I can't wait to finish at least 5 more before I buy some new ones!
I have loved using the D&G and Chloe perfumes recently, D&G is more of an everyday perfume for me but when I used the Chloe perfume it really reminded me of Summer!
I have been using the Viva La Juicy Body Lotion this month a lot especially after having a shower purely because in the colder months my skin feels like it really drys up and this has been my savior.
I am so happy I have finished the Mini Benefit They're Real mascara up I can now justify buying the normal sized one! I really love this Mascara and for the past 6 months its the only one I have really been reaching for.
The next one is no surprise because I go through a can of deodorant about every 2 months and I really haven't found another I like as much as Sure!
The lipgloss I have used up is one I bought from Harrods in the Christmas sale just over a year ago and I have recently remembered I had this! Its just a perfect lipgloss to add over pretty much any nude lipstick!
I always use this Dove Summer Glow especially when I'm feeling really pale which I am at the moment because my tan has faded dramatically from my last holiday so I need this to stop me looking like a ghost, its so nourishing and adds a lovely glow to my skin after applying this 3 days running.

My Favourite 5 Blogs Right Now

I decided that it would be nice to upload a post on my top 5 favourite bloggers, I have been reading blogs for a lot longer than I have been blogging myself, reading other blogs helped me make the decision that I wanted to start blogging myself and I absolutely love it!

My top 5 blogs are

Dizzy Brunette 3 is a blog written by a lovely girl called Corrie who loves to write about Beauty! I have loved reading her blog for the past year and I will keep her blog favourited on my Ipad forever! She also has a YouTube Channel which I'm subscribed too!

Pearls and Poodles is a beauty and fashion blog written by a lovely lady called Millie, Millie's blog is one of the first ever blogs I read when I first started getting into beauty, her posts are so pretty and she has gorgeous makeup to review which makes it worse for me because pretty much anything she blogs about makes it into my wishlist!

Sophia Meola is a Beauty, Fashion and Lifestyle blog written by a lovely girl called Sophia, I have been reading Sophia's blog for a while now, she seems to have the same taste in beauty and fashion as me so I know that if she reviews a product I will definitely want to go out and get it if I haven't already got it myself! She seems pretty obsessed with handbags like me so I love to read her Haul posts!

Away with the Fairies is a Beauty, Fashion and Lifestyle blog written by Hannah, I've just started reading Hannah's posts but love her blog already, her photos are really refreshing and I have enjoyed looking through all her old posts to see what I missed!

Cosmetic Crave is a Beauty blog written by a lovely girl called Hannah, Cosmetic Crave is also a new beauty blog I've been reading and loving! Her photos are really clear and bright which makes  reading her blog so much easier, even though I haven't been reading Hannah's blog long I've found that I have nearly read all of her blog posts now!

My Top 5 Perfumes!

My perfume changes on a regular basis because I drown myself in perfume some days and I always keep one in each of my handbags and one in my clutch so I like to have a good amount to choose from, my top five perfumes that I own right now are-
I love these body mists they are so cheap and they have so many different scents!
I didn't know that this was Limited Edition, I am only half way through this but I love it and now I've seen the price I don't want to use it up else I will need to buy another.
I just used to have this sitting on my perfume tray and not even using it but since Christmas I have picked this up every week and I have been Loving it!
Victoria's Secret Angel Dream
I bought this because of the gorgeous white glittery wings on the back of the bottle but I have used this a couple of times and it smells AMAZING!
I bought this a while back now and I am sad to say I am nearly at the end of this bottle, however I really want to try some new perfumes out so when this runs out I don't think I will be repurchasing this.

I love all my perfumes and I love finding new ones too, their are a few new ones that have come out that I really want to try and I have also been recommend a few too so when these run out I cannot wait to purchase them!

January Favourites

My absolute favourite out of the top 8 items has to be the Coco Mademoiselle Moisture Mist I have had this since the Summer and because I had so much perfume to use I just never got round to trying it but throughout this month I have been loving this and haven't stopped using it and at £28 its not a shocking amount to pay for a Body Mist especially when it comes from Chanel!

Dermalogica Daytime Radiance Review*

A couple of weeks ago I was contacted by a lovely lady who asked if I wanted to review some Dermalogica skincare products from beauty900.co.uk, I don't usually buy skincare products because i'm quite lucky with my skin however over the past few months I've noticed my skin is looking a little dry and dull.

I have been testing all three of these products for the past two weeks so thought I would let you know my thoughts on these three products, the Daytime Radiance Travel Set I received included a Multivitamin Power Firm, Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF30 and a SkinPerfect Primer SPF30.

SkinPerfect Primer SPF30-
This primer is tinted and to me also has some shimmer to it, which usually isn't my thing but when I put this on and then put my Foundation on it made me have a more flawless look! I didn't think I would like wearing a primer under my foundation but with one I didn't even remember I had put it on it just added a really nice touch to my makeup routine! This Primer from Dermalogica says it has skin-firming peptides and has SPF30 for radiance and lumonosity. My skin defiantely looked more radiant when I wore this as part of my makeup routine, I really have enjoyed using this and after wearing this pretty much continuously for two weeks I have now run out but I will be purchasing the full size of this product from the website.

Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF30-
This moisturiser from Dermalogica helps to hydrate the skin and help the aging of the skin, I have used this nearly every day for a week and I have defiantely noticed a difference from using this product, I get some odd dry patches on my face and this has really helped, I also noticed that this product has a really nice but subtle smell to it, not too much though because it wasn't strong enough but I don't really like strong smells in moisturisers so this was key to me with this product! I will carry on using this product because I have found it useful and if I continue to love it as much as I have then I will be repurchasing the full size of this product.

MultiVitamin Power Firm-
This firm cream from Dermalogica has been really nice to use over the past two weeks, it has a silicone feel to it but it soaks into my skin like a dream, I have been using this at night just before I go to bed and I can definitely see a difference in using this my skin looks amazing and it feels really soft and like velvet to the touch! I will be repurchasing the full sized product of this because I have no run out of this product but I want to continue using it to see what else it can improve in my skin as it can help with fine lines in the skin.
